Information Education & Communication (IEC)

Door to Door Survey and Waste Segregation

Waste Collection and Transportation
As per SWM rule 2016, Abhimith wasteless services team ensures proper solid-waste collection and transportation, which is significant for the protection of public health, safety, and environmental quality.
Livelihood Promotion of Waste Peackers
AWS identifies local waste pickers to engage them in sorting/selling/purchasing/recycling of Waste, help them to enhance their socio-economic and able them to live in the mainstream of the society.
Composting and Recycling
Team AWS make sure that all wet, dry, plastic, paper wastes would be collected with 100% segregation from sources, also make the process of composting and recycling easier.

Skills & Livelihood development
Abhimith wasteless services regularly conducts capacity building programs for masons, entrepreneurs, sanitation workers, waste management workers as part of programmes and also with external partners with an aim to improve skills and thereby income. Our livelihood work promotes small enterprises, SHGs, federations, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) operating in businesses involving masonry, sanitation & hygiene, recycling, food processing etc.
Water sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Our WASH programmes promote access to improved water, sanitation and hygiene in an inclusive manner for better health outcomes. Abhimith wasteless supports marginalised rural and urban communities with knowledge, awareness and access to finance for investing in improved WASH systems.
